Contents.History Formation and early years (1989–1994) In 1989, bassist for Kenzi & The Trips, left the band with former Kenzi's drummer and invited The Coin Locker Babies vocalist to form a new band. Outside Japan, they are best known as the group responsible for the soundtrack to the series. The group has released 22 studio albums, several and compilations, and over 40 singles.
